Illegal Immigration - Three Step Solution

Illegal immigration is just that, Illegal.  Let us be clear, legal immigration is a good thing and should be encouraged.  America was founded on the backs of hard working immigrants from every corner of the world.  America must find a way that eases and encourages legal immigration.

Politicians on both sides of the isle continue to pander to both sides of the argument.  Politicians on the left and right are attempting to appear tough on crime while simultaneously sympathetic to this particular crime.  Politicians on both side of the isle are desperate to grab the potential in votes once illegal immigrants are somehow able to vote. 

Let’s get right to the three-step solution that solves all of the major issues surrounding illegal immigration.

Terrorists Win One More

The attempted car-bombing in New York on May 2nd, 2010 was yet another reason for our leaders to call for more surveillance.

Stop and think about this for a minute. What exactly is the definition of terrorism?

There it is. Now watch as we see the government begin to spy on American's more. Watch as we see cities (especially New York) put more and more surveillance in place. Looks like the terrorists are winning.

With every new strike (including failed attempts) we lose more freedom or gain more government intrusion into our daily lives.

I don't have the answer to stopping terrorism; there may not be one. However, when the terrorists see how we react to every attempt, they clearly see that they are winning. The Fear is driving us to take away our own freedom under the guise of security.

Please, write to your representatives, local officials, and vote. You must let them know that we will not allow ourselves to be "coerced" by terrorists. No matter what action(s) we take to deter and/or stop terrorism, the one thing that we must never do is acquiesce.
